Piano Teacher Specialist Courses
Invest in yourself, connect with other teachers, and learn from the experts - all without leaving (your) home! These 10-week/40-hour online courses are facilitated by experienced pedagogues and, through a wide range of videos and articles, will help you gain deep insight into physical approaches, musicianship, repertoire, and artistry. Cohorts of 20-25 teachers, weekly assignments, and moderated discussion forums help you make the most of your learning journey. Less than $50/week, some pre-requisites apply.

The Royal Conservatory’s online History courses bring music history to life for young learners. We will explore musical eras in a highly visual manner providing context by connecting music to art, architecture, and even fashion, augmented by embedded audio examples, interactive games, and quizzes. These courses serve students with a variety of learning styles and are designed to support students who do not live in close proximity to history teachers.

The Royal Conservatory online ear training provides activities with feedback and hints to help you succeed in developing your aural skills. It includes acoustic musical examples for a high-quality listening experience and an onscreen keyboard for additional support.
